Excel & CSV Data Imports
Excel & CSV Data Imports
Start with the files you already have. Upload Excel or CSV exports in your existing layout and start planning without an ERP project.
How it works
Vintaflow needs product identifiers (UPC or EAN), locations, and stock and order movements. You can bring them in as .xlsx or .csv files in whatever layout your systems export. A saved template maps the columns once, the file is processed in the background, and high-volume order and inventory loads run on the same import engine.
Imports you can trust
Rows that fail validation come back as a file to correct, while the rest of the import goes through. Any import can be reverted. Custom fields that your account defines on orders and products flow through imports like any built-in field, and units are stored once and shown in the units each team works in.
Once the data is in, it feeds ML demand forecasting, inventory planning, and recommended orders straight away.
What it changes
- A distributor starts planning with its weekly ERP export instead of waiting for an integration project.
- An importer uploads a partner's spreadsheet in that partner's own layout.
- A planning team reverts a bad upload in one step instead of cleaning up by hand.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Do I need a system integration to start with Vintaflow?
- No. You can start with Excel or CSV exports from the systems you already use and add deeper connections later, at your own pace.
- What happens when rows in an import fail?
- The failed rows come back as a file you can correct and upload again. The rest of the import is processed, and any import can be reverted.
- Can I import files in my own column layout?
- Yes. A saved template maps your columns once, so later uploads in the same layout are processed without remapping.
